008KOKUSHIKAN University［留りゅう学がく生せいの声こえ］陳 ヨンウェイ(TAN Yung Wei) ［タン ヨンウェイ］マレーシアSchool of Science and Engineering, Department of Science and Engineering 理工学部 理工学科 3年My first impression of Kokushikan University is the teachers and assistants are wonderful people. Not only I received help on University procedure help, but because during that time due to covid-19 most students were not allowed to enter the campus, one of my teachers gave major support and advise for living alone during the pandemic. If it weren’t for their help I would be struggling a lot on my own. A year pass swiftly and even thought that some classes has resume schedule most of us were still meeting each other for the first time. It was a little surprising to knew that most students around me was at least 2years younger, but they were very kind and most of us became fast-friends. Probably one of the most fascinating thing that I found out in Japan was how little did Japanese people speak any foreign language. Before while I was studying Japanese back in Malaysia, beside going to tuition I often self-studied my Japanese using YouTube videos. Most of the time, I saw plenty of people in the videos speak in English without a problem. After arriving in Japan it was the opposite, it has been 3 years and I have not found more than 5 Japanese people who can communicate in English. This was probably one of the most shocking experience I had in Japan. This year I will be entering my 3rd Year in Kokushikan University and I have choosen Professor Jinno’s class as my main course. I haven’t decide where to work after my graduation. Since I am able to speak up until 5 languages, anywhere in Asia and many parts of Europe will also be a great opportunity. As for now I would do my best to find a place in Japan, if things doesn’t go as plan I’ll think about another country.国こく士し舘かん大だい学がくに入にゅう学がくして良よかったところは、先せん生せいや教きょう務む員いんの方かたたちがとても優やさしいことです。留りゅう学がく生せいの私わたしたちは、最さい初しょに色いろ々いろと大たい変へんな経けい験けんをしていると思おもいますが、学がっ校こう関かん係けいでも生せい活かつに関かんしても先せん生せい方がたはとても優やさしく丁てい寧ねいにサポートしてくださいました。私わたしたち学がく生せいは2歳さいぐらいの年ねん齢れい差さがあっても、日ひ々び笑え顔がおで話はなし合あい、困こまったときはお互たがい助たすけあっています。国こく士し舘かん大だい学がくは友とも達だちを沢たく山さん作つくれる場ば所しょでもあると思おもいます。日に本ほんに来くる前まえは、日に本ほん人じんは英えい語ごでも話はなせるイメージがありましたが、日に本ほん語ご以い外がいの言げん語ごを喋しゃべらない人ひとが予よ想そう以い上じょうに多おおくいることに驚おどろきました。その為ため日に本ほん語ごの勉べん強きょうを頑がん張ばらないと、生せい活かつで困こまることが多おおくあると思おもいます。今こん後ごは神じん野の先せん生せいの元もとで研けん究きゅうを続つづけることが決きまりましたが、卒そつ業ぎょう後ごは日に本ほんで就しゅう職しょくするか、他ほかの国くにで就しゅう職しょくするかまだ迷まよっています。現げん在ざい話はなせる言げん語ごは5つですが、まだ増ふやしていきたいです。英えい語ごと中ちゅう国ごく語ごと母ぼ国こく語ご（マレー語ご）が話はなせるので、アジアだけではなくヨーロッパにも行いけるかもしれません。もちろん日に本ほんで就しゅう職しょくしたい思おもいも強つよいですが、万まんが一いち日に本ほんで就しゅう職しょくしたい会かい社しゃや場ば所しょが合あわなければ、またその時ときに考かんがえようと思おもいます。 Kokushikan Overseas Students Brotherhood(KOSB) ［国こく士し舘かん大だい学がく留りゅう学がく生せい会かい］The Kokushikan Overseas Students Brotherhood is a fraternal organization of international students enrolled at Kokushikan University, who become members upon enrollment. KOSB sponsors a variety of extracurricular activities and annual events aimed at developing friendships among the international student community, and provides students with mutual assistance and support in achieving their academic goals. In addition, through contact with the Japanese student population and the community at large, KOSB hopes to further the progress of international communication and understanding. The Kokushikan Overseas Students Brotherhood was founded in 1987, and since that time has played a noteworthy role at the university. KOSB participates in student festivals and introduces traditional food of their native countries.国こく士し舘かん大だい学がく留りゅう学がく生せい会かいは国こく士し舘かん大だい学がくに在ざい籍せきする留りゅう学がく生せいで結けっ成せいされた親しん睦ぼく団だん体たいです。留りゅう学がく生せいは入にゅう学がくと同どう時じに、この会かいに入にゅう会かいすることができます。留りゅう学がく生せい会かいでは自じ主しゅ的てきにいろいろな課か外がい活かつ動どうや年ねん間かん行ぎょう事じを行おこなうことで留りゅう学がく生せい相そう互ごの親しん睦ぼくをはかったり、学がく業ぎょう達たっ成せいのために協きょう力りょくし合あったりしています。さらに、日に本ほん人じん学がく生せいや地ち域いきとの国こく際さい交こう流りゅうを通つうじて、国こく際さい理り解かいの促そく進しんに役やく立だつことを目もく的てきとしています。国こく士し舘かん大だい学がく留りゅう学がく生せい会かいは、1987年ねんに発ほっ足そくし、その役やく割わりが注ちゅう目もくされてきました。
